John-Paul Donovan, CPO, CEO and Owner
ABC Board Certified Prosthetist-Orthotist and CEO of AtlanticProCare. He founded AtlanticProCare 27 years ago and has practiced here in Portland for over 30 years. JP received his degree from the University of Texas-Southwestern Medical Center and completed residencies at NOPCO at Boston Children's Hospital and in Portsmouth, NH. He has served as the chairman of the CAD-CAM Society of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists and has lectured at the University of New England, Doctorate of Physical Therapy program for years. Through caring for patients day to day as well as managing the growth of the practice, he has helped many patients build lifelong relationships with the care team at AtlanticProCare.
Cathy Le Shane, Care Coordinator/Business Manager
Highly creative and results-focused, Cathy’s 30+ years of administrative and clinical experience is a powerful asset for our patients and our day-to-day operations. She came to us in 2006 with a background in nursing and in the business side of the medical profession. An avid gardener, Cathy also enjoys snowmobiling, rollerskating, volunteer work and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Martha Crowley, MPT, Prosthetist/Orthotist
Martha's passion has always been helping others, so it should be no surprise that her experience includes a number of relationship-focused roles. Armed with that and her medical training as a Physical Therapist, she is ideally suited to play an active role in every patient visit, assist with diagnoses and treatment, and help make sure our patients meet their goals.
Desiree Pierce, Care Coordinator
Desiree’s extensive knowledge of health claims enables her to make the complex healthcare system easier for patients to understand and navigate. As a Care Coordinator, her duties go far beyond administrative – she is a dynamic part of our multi-faceted patient care team. She has worked at AtlanticProCare since 2011 and enjoys spending her free time with her family.
David Ciampa, Care Coordinator
David came to us in 2019 well practiced at putting his naturally outgoing personality to good use as an Ed. Tech. Here, as a Care Coordinator, those strengths are further on display as he serves as the face of APC while performing clinical and patient relationship roles that provide great value to the patients we care for.
