Medical Assistant

Description

While being a part of our highly skilled and compassionate team, this position is directly involved in the operations and supports patient care services. Therefore, attention to detail is most important. Specifically, you will be responsible for assisting clinical team with patient data and care and Medicare compliant documentation/ medical functions also including handling patient calls, scheduling appointments, checking patients out, other duties. You will also perform patient workflow duties including metric tracking, reporting, and chart compliance (HIPAA). This multi-faceted position requires the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

  • An individual who possesses strong communication skills, demonstrates great attention to detail, is knowledgeable of health care , and has strong familiarity with medical terminology.

 

Requirements

Microsoft Excel proficiency Medical Insurance experience Medical Office Experience. Hours are 8:30 am - 5:00 pm 5 days a week. Wages based on experience.
